Following our board meeting today, Disabled Pride UK has now agreed a terms of reference and further developments to the website. A draft business plan is being drawn up with a view to apply for various streams of funding.

Disabled Pride UK begins with acknowledging the great works of those pioneers who have gone before us in challenging negative perceptions and the social construction of disability. People such as Paul Hunt, Mike Oliver, Colin Barnes, Bert Massie, Vic Finkelstein to name but a few. And it is on the shoulders of these giants that we aim to build and move the disability movement forward.
